Mark Russell manager of Penyffordd Panthers U13s from the Clwyd League contacted Web Teams to comment on how well his club had done financially this year from EasyFundRaising.co.uk.

Mark emailed Web Teams...
Just to let you know the easy fund-raising site we use has helped us earn £120 so far this season.
This is encouraging and shows that it can work. Here are the recent spends (screenshot below), as you can see holidays and insurance boost the total. This is the area we tend to promote. I've realised the LOVE FILM trial pays £8 per person and currently trying to get people registered. Without the big spends we'd probably be looking at £40 which is still ok.
If we could get over £150 by the end of the season this will help replace any kit or training equipment we need as I guess in the current climate it's going to be harder for clubs like ours to find local sponsorship which we have always relied on in the past for new Home & away kit's.
Therefore the more the parents and families of players can do to help generate funds the better position we will be in.
As for the team we've done well this season. If we win the remaining two matches Saturday & Tuesday we will either finish 2nd or be in a play-off for 2nd place. Potentially we could still win the league as the current leaders have three games left (including a trip to our home ground) but only need a single point to clinch the title (Hawarden Rangers). We have been the only team to beat them this season in the league (last week 1-0 away) and also the only team to beat them x2 last year in the league, when they won it.
Only lost 3 games and one draw one but you can only afford to drop 6 points in our league to stay in contention.
This shows that the £15 charge for Web Teams can be easily pulled back through your website throughout the season. In fact in this case ten times over!
Pennyford Panthers are an under 13s team with a strong website that has encouraged parents and fans to support the club. An occasional news item and a link to the EasyFundRaising site seems to have done the job:
